Join us for a lively discussion on the similarities and differences between archaeology and palaeontology with two of Macquarie University’s researchers!
Experts confirmed so far include:
Ronika Power, a bio-archaeologist who brings the stories of the dead to life through her incredible research from across the world. Ronika has worked across sites in Egypt and Malta and focuses on how human remains can help us learn about populations and people of the past.
Sally Hurst, a palaeontologist that spends her time digging up dinosaurs and exploring the interactions between humans and fossils throughout history. Sally has worked from the Canadian Badlands to the mines of Lightning Ridge, and the coastal dinosaur sites in south-eastern Australia.
The Macquarie University History Museum will have extended opening hours before the event so you can see ancient artefacts from around the world, as well as interact with real fossils.
